This is a mentorship and capacity-building program offered to HIGLOS scholarship girls and other girls in various schools in the communities we reach out to. It is a monthly platform through which we provide orientation and guidance to the girls on what they need to do to work towards fulfilling their dreams in life. They are also given practical knowledge on how to ensure their physical wellbeing. They are taught lessons on menstrual cycle, reproductive health, goals setting, leadership skills, studying techniques etc.

Kai Blessed Farmers (KBF) is a common initiative group comprising three rural communities in Mbengwi, North West Region, Cameroon: Kai, Zang and Tonequo. Their goal is to work together to fight hunger. KBF is supported by a partnership between HIGLOS and African Women for Empowerment (AWE.e.V). AWE.e.V provides funding, while HIGLOS provides technical assistance and monitoring/evaluation of farming activities of KBF farmers. HIGLOS/KBF PCs visit the farming site quarterly and the farmers also come to HIGLOS Office twice a quarter for meetings and training. Refresher training seminars are held once every year during which KBF farmers are taught on: sustainable agriculture, livestock, team Spirit, leadership, book keeping, marketing, communication and a lot more.
